Why are different things called health opponents? The body needs different things – protein, carbs, fats, amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals – to carry out its metabolic processes, to create energy and repair itself.
What happens, for instance, if your body needs a certain amount of B vitamins to function correctly, but the B vitamins it has available is being used up by any of the below listed opponents. The body now has a deficiency of B vitamins and some other organ will suffer. The heart and cardiovascular system may suffer, as well as the nervous system, skin, gums, etc. etc. etc. They all need B vitamins to function properly
